You will see the following dialog box:

As a first step, input the View name. Under Boundary select whether your view is the Current display or if you want to Define window (click the small button at the right to zoom to the desired area). If you click the small button at the lower left part of the dialog box, you will see Settings, select whether you want to Save layer snapshot with view, or not? Layer snapshot, is the status of layers (on/off, Thaw/Frozen, Unlock/Lock, etc.). When done click OK to save the view, take a look of the extended dialog box
